During your Meet 'n' Greet, you’ll tour the Retreat, meet our dedicated team, and allow us to conduct a personalized behavioral assessment of your pup. We’ll take the time to understand their temperament, preferences, and unique needs to ensure a perfect fit.

This is also the time to discuss your expectations, answer any questions, and build the foundation of a trust-based relationship that sets the tone for every stay.

Our Free Transformation Session is a 15–20 minute phone call where we discuss your biggest challenges with your dog and map out a clear path forward.

From puppy basics and obedience to behavior modification and advanced service or protection training, we help you understand what your dog needs and what realistic next steps look like.

Training Programs

We offer structured Board & Train and Daycare & Train programs designed to support dogs at every developmental stage—from puppy foundations to advanced task implementation.

Training focuses on clear communication, consistency, and real-world application. While our programs build strong skills and structure, long-term success depends on continued reinforcement and follow-through at home. For this reason, owner education and transition support are an essential part of the process.

Board & Train Programs

Puppy Basics (14 Days)
A two-week board and train program focused on foundational obedience, engagement, and early habit formation. This program establishes the structure puppies need to grow into confident, well-mannered dogs.

Puppy Advanced (28 Days)
A four-week board and train program that builds on foundational skills while introducing advanced obedience, impulse control, and task readiness. This program is ideal for puppies preparing for higher-level work or more demanding environments.

Daycare & Train Programs

Adolescent Basic (10 Days)
A structured daycare and train program where your dog spends up to 12 hours per day at our Retreat. Dogs participate in supervised daycare activities and receive a daily one-on-one training session.

Training focuses on basic obedience, manners, and socialization, including but not limited to:
sit, down, stay, place, thresholds, jumping, counter surfing, furniture boundaries, and general household etiquette.

The Perfect Walk (10 Days)
A daycare and train program dedicated almost entirely to loose-leash walking and handler engagement. Daily sessions focus on leash mechanics, walking position, impulse control, and navigating real-world walking scenarios calmly and confidently.

Behavior Modification Programs

Behavior modification programs are fully customized based on the behavior being addressed. This includes light behavioral concerns such as jumping, chewing, or indoor potty issues, as well as more complex challenges including reactivity and aggression.

All behavior modification cases begin with a Transformation Session, followed by an in-person meet and greet for evaluation. From there, we develop a personalized plan focused on correcting the behavior while prioritizing safety, clarity, and long-term stability.

Advanced behavior cases, service work, and protection training are evaluation-based only and are not guaranteed placements.

Training Environment & Support

Training is conducted in structured, real-world environments—not isolated or purely sterile settings—so dogs learn how to apply skills where they matter most.

Owner transition sessions, guidance, and follow-up support are included or available depending on the program, ensuring handlers understand how to maintain progress after training is complete.

Training is hard work — recovery matters.

The SPAW Add-On is available with any Board & Train, Daycare-N-Train, or Private Training Package and is designed to support relaxation, recovery, and overall well-being during the training process.

SPAW Add-On Includes:

Professional bath & blow-dry

Coat brushing and de-shedding (as appropriate)

Ear cleaning

Nail trim or nail grind (dog-dependent)

Calm handling focused on decompression and confidence
